I am completely totally addicted to a free photo-taking and photo-sharing iPhone app called Instagram. Perhaps you're heard of them? Facebook purchased Instagram for only a paltry $1B.
While Instagram is great for snapping pictures and then editing them with a variety of filters to make them look retro, it also has a blossoming social aspect to it. 1.3 million photographs are uploaded each day to Instagram by its 7 million users and then shared on Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, and Facebook.
And like Twitter, you can follow folks on Instagram whose pictures you fancy - or not - as you also have the ability to keep your profile and pictures on lock-down.
